1) Who we are
“We”, “us”, and “our” mean Sharon McRae (Coaching for Women Rebuilding After Life’s Setbacks), based in Queensland, Australia.
2) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version here. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
3) Age & global audience
You must be 18+ to purchase coaching. This website can be accessed worldwide; you’re responsible for compliance with your local laws.
4) Services summary (what we offer)
We provide personal development coaching and resources, delivered in three formats:
- Self-paced online email course (no coaching or feedback).
- Async coaching (personal support via email, text, and voice notes using WhatsApp or your phone’s SMS app).
- 1-on-1 live Zoom coaching (real-time sessions).
Coaching supports growth and decision-making; it is not therapy, counselling, or medical care. Results vary by individual participation and circumstances.
5) Booking, rescheduling & communication
- Bookings, schedules, and payments are handled via Paperbell (payments processed by Stripe).
- You may cancel or reschedule sessions up to 24 hours before the appointment time (after that, the session may be forfeited).
- Between-session support for async and 1-on-1 formats is via email, text, and voice notes (WhatsApp/SMS), within the boundaries set in your package.
6) Pricing, currency & taxes
Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown in AUD. Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion fees. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your location.
7) Payments & plans
Payment is due in full at booking or via an approved payment plan. You agree to complete all instalments when choosing a plan. Payment processing is securely managed through Paperbell/Stripe.
8) Refunds & guarantees
Online Email Course (self-directed): You may request a full refund within 48 hours of purchase. After 48 hours, refunds aren’t available except where required by law.
Gentle Exit Guarantee (coaching): If, after your first live or async coaching interaction, you feel the program isn’t the right fit, email us within 48 hours of that first interaction for a full refund. Requests after this window will not be granted.
9) Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your decisions, actions, and results. Coaching is a collaborative process; outcomes depend on your participation. For health, legal, financial, or mental-health concerns, seek a qualified professional. This site and services are not for emergencies.
10) Intellectual property & license
All website content, program materials, worksheets, videos, and downloads are owned by Sharon McRae (unless otherwise stated). You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use purchased materials for your own private, non-commercial use. You must not share, copy, adapt, resell, or redistribute materials without written permission.
11) Acceptable use
Do not use the site or services to post or transmit unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or invasive content; to infringe others’ rights; to attempt to breach security; or to interfere with the operation of the site.
12) Third-party links & tools
We may link to external sites or use third-party platforms (e.g., Paperbell, Stripe, Zoom, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
13) Privacy
Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
14) Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site and services are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary loss or damage arising from your use of this site, our content, or services.
15) Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, please contact us—most issues can be resolved quickly. If unresolved, disputes will be handled by arbitration in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, under rules of a recognised arbitration body. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law; if a waiver is not enforceable in your jurisdiction, this clause applies to you to the maximum extent lawful.
16) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
17) Severability & entire agreement
If any provision is held invalid, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between us regarding this website and services.
